November’s meeting saw lots of great stockings being handed over to our charity committee, the stockings were off to St Thomas’s in London to help brighten Christmas day for those families who find themselves in hospital at Christmas with sick little ones. Special thanks to the East Midlands Modern Quilt Guild who also donated some beautiful stockings (apologies that I didn’t get a photo).
Again there was a variety of quilting styles on display providing lots of inspiration for 2015. Looking forward to 2015 and the January’s meeting will see the results of the touch draw challenge. It’s not too late to enter…see the blog for details.
